Karim Adeyemi has said that nothing has been decided on his long-term future, in spite of the ongoing interest in the Red Bull Salzburg forward from the likes of Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool.
The 20-year-old German has become one of the brightest youngsters in European football over the last one-and-a-half year, with 18 goals in 29 matches across all competitions this campaign.
Four of those goals have come in the UEFA Champions League and Karim earned his first three caps for his country’s national team last year, netting once thus far.
However, Adeyemi is yet to play at the elite level domestically, with Die Roten Bullen in the Austrian Bundesliga, but that is expected to change this summer.
The Reds have been regularly mentioned with a move over the last year, but BVB are now leading the hunt to sign the young attacker, according to Goal, particularly since the Anfield side spent big on Luis Diaz in January.
The highly-regarded wonderboy, though, says he is not yet considering his future and is only focused on his side.
‘As I’ve said many times, my focus is on Salzburg. Nothing has been decided,’ the talent told reporters. ‘What happens in summer happens in summer.’
