Liverpool reportedly have no plans to pursue a deal for Chelsea forward Christian Pulisic this summer.
The USA international winger has only made 13 starts for Thomas Tuchel’s side in the 2021-22 Premier League campaign and has been tipped to head for the exit door within weeks.
Pulisic’s current deal at Stamford Bridge is set to expire in the summer of 2024, and the 23-year-old forward has found it tough to displace the likes of Mason Mount, Kai Havertz and Timo Werner in the attack.
The Mersesyside Reds were rumoured to be keeping a close eye on Christian Pulisic amid their attacking shake-up, as Sadio Mane and Divock Origi both departed from Anfield.
However, CBS Sports journalist Ben Jacobs reports that the Reds are currently not interested in a move for Pulisic, who has also been rumoured with Juventus and AC Milan.
The Merseyside Reds have already added to their attacking ranks with the signings of Fabio Carvalho and Darwin Nunez, while right-back Calvin Ramsay has also joined from Scottish giants, Aberdeen.
Jacobs adds that the Merseyside Reds could still pursue a deal for another attacking player before the window shuts following Sadio Mane and Divock Origi’s exits, despite previous reports suggesting that the Reds will not sign another player this summer.
Pulisic banked a total of eight times and five assists in 38 games for the Blues in all tournaments last campaign, taking his total for the Blues to 25 goals and 18 assists in 114 outings.
Since arriving in a £57.6m contract three-and-a-half years ago, Pulisic has won the Champions League, Club World Cup and UEFA Super Cup with the London club.
