It seems Palmeiras whizkid Endrick is not going anywhere anytime soon.
For the past several days, there have been many stories on his potential and the sides who are already keen on him, with reports saying the likes of Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and the 20-time English champions Manchester United got in touch with the youngster’s entourage.
He is only 15-years-of-age, and before penning a professional contract with his side, the player could leave them for nothing, with a new team just paying training compensation.
However, in contact with journalist Jorge Nicola, Endrick’s father now claimed that his son is signing his very first deal with the Verdao.
The report says there is already a total agreement in place and that will be announced in the summer, when the attacker turns 16.
Regarding approaches from the Reds, the Red Devils, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester City, his father also said that there are even more outfits who have been willing to snap up him.
The Brazilian indeed had a stunning start at the Copa Sao Paulo, an Under-21 tournament, with four goals in two matches.
Endrick’s now left out because of a Covid-19 diagnosis, and it should be no surprise if the South American soon makes his debut for Palmeiras’ senior team.
