Liverpool have allegedly moved ahead of Leeds United and Arsenal in the race for Club Brugge starlet Noa Lang.

The 22-year-old star has enjoyed a prolific start to the term in the Belgian first tier and also produced a man-of-the-match performance against Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League.

Noa was linked with a switch to the Whites over the summer, while the Gunners are now rumoured to be plotting a winter swoop for the Netherlands international.

However, Calciomercato states that the Reds are now at the head of the queue for his signature, although AC Milan have now joined the race as well.

Brugge head coach Philippe Clement has previously revealed that his side may be powerless to stop the player moving on in January, but it’d reportedly take a bid of €25 million (£21.1 million) to land the attacker.

He boasts 21 goals and 16 assists from 51 matches in a Brugge shirt, and his deal with the club does not expire until 2025, with the ex-Ajax ace penning a new contract in September.

Elsewhere, Liverpool are allegedly weighing up a £20m swoop for Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos. His current contract at the Santiago Bernabeu outfit is due to expire in the summer of 2023.
