Last week, Bild reported Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Liverpool all have Red Bull Salzburg’s attacking sensation Karim Adeyemi on their radar.

The 19-year-old German moved to Austria from lower tier German outfit SpVgg Unterhaching three years ago and has been a regular for them since the start of the 2020/21 term.

Karim managed nine goals and 11 assists in all competitions last term and has seven goals and an assist to his name this campaign.

He even made his debut for his country against Armenia and found the back of the net in their 6-0 win earlier this month.

Transfermarkt has a fresh report on the versatile attacker and their title states the Reds and Blaugrana consider a winter offer for him, as both sides have a strong interest to sign Adeyemi in January.

Adeyemi’s existing deal with Red Bull Salzburg lasts until June 2024 and reports have indicated a sum of €30m is needed to secure his signature.

SpVgg Unterhaching president Manfred Schwabl believes Karim’s long-term future will be in England and he made these claims when quizzed about the recent reports of Barcelona and Liverpool considering making an offer for his ex-player in January.

“German football would be well advised to bring him back. If he came back to Germany, it would only be an intermediate step,” Manfred told Sport1’s program, Meine Bayern-Woche.

“In the long run, he’s a player for England. He stands for attack, is quick and ready for a duel. You have already seen that against Armenia. He can score goals and assist. In the long run, the island [England] will be his home.”
