Manchester United talent Facundo Pellistri returning to the La Liga club Alaves is considered ‘feasible’ this summer’s transfer market.
That’s according to AS, who report that the Spanish side’s sporting director, Sergio Fernandez, has been readying move for several months.
Facundo spent the second half of last campaign on loan with Babazorros and impressed when given the chance.
He is likely to be shipped out on loan again this summer but so far hasn’t departed Old Trafford, with the Red Devils yet to decide what to do with him.
The Mendizorrotza outfit have always been keen to have the Uruguayan back and have made that clear and seem to be Facundo’s first choice, which seemingly put them in the pole position to get him back.
The aforementioned source now says a deal is ‘feasible’, suggesting the English giants would be open to letting it happen this summer if both were able to reach a full agreement.
Alaves’ senior member is certainly keen to make it so, having revealed at the end of last season that he’d want Pellistri and fellow loanees Florian Lejeune and Rodrigo Battaglia back at the club.
The former is now closing in on making that happen, and it looks like there’s a belief United sensation could join him at some point.
