Manchester United are ready to enter the market for RB Leipzig playmaker Christopher Nkunku, according to SportBild journalist Christian Falk.

He has emerged as one of the most sought-after prospects in the European market, thanks to a brilliant start to the season.

It has resulted in serious interest from almost all top clubs in Europe and the Red Devils have been no exception.

After the appointment of the German tactician Ralf Rangnick as the new interim head coach, the club is expected to raid Die Roten Bullen for multiple star players.

It appears the Frenchman has also joined the list of stars wanted by the 62-year-old mastermind, having enjoyed a wonderful spell at Red Bull Arena.

Formerly of Paris Saint-Germain, Nkunku was initially brought in at the Bundesliga outfit by Ralf in the summer of 2019.

Since then, the midfielder has featured in 104 competitive appearances for his team, netting 25 goals while chipping in with 36 assists. 25 of his 61 goal involvements for the team have come in the new term.

The star is indeed the third most productive player in the UEFA Champions League this term with seven goals and three assists, while his tally in the German top-flight stands at five goals and eight assists.

It makes Christopher the division’s second-highest assist-maker, behind Bayern Munich’s Thomas Muller.
