Alex Telles isn’t actively looking to quit Manchester United this summer’s transfer market in spite of interest from the Serie A giants Roma, according to journalist Jonathan Shrager.
The 28-year-old defender joined the Red Devils last year but had to remain satisfied with a bit-part role because of Luke Shaw’s stellar form last term.
Luke will remain first-choice left-back next campaign as well and it has led to talk that Telles could depart Old Trafford in the ongoing transfer market.
Roma are looking at him but Manchester United are not keen on giving him away on loan this summer.
And it has been stated that Telles himself is not interested in a transfer away from Manchester United at the moment.
He is happy with life at the club and is currently in pre-season training with the rest of the team.
The English giants have received enquiries for the player, but Alex is not actively looking for the exit door at Old Trafford in the near future.
There are claims the Premier League could be interested in letting the South American full-back go if a club agree to pay the €15 million they forked out for him last summer.
