Arsenal have finalised the transfer of Brazil forward Gabriel Jesus from Man City for £45m transfer fee.

The 25-year-old forward has become the Gunners fourth addition in the summer, following the arrivals of Fabio Vieira, goalkeeper Matt Turner. Marquinhos.

Mikel Arteta said he was “very excited” by the arrival of Brazilian hotshot.

“The club has done a tremendous job to recruit a player of this stature,” he said.

“I know Gabriel personally very well, and we all know him well from his time in the Premier League and being really successful here,” the Gunners manager said.

“This is a position that’s been on our radar for a long time now and we have managed to get a player that we all wanted, so I’m really happy.”

Gabriel Jesus, who will wear the No.9 jersey for the Gunners, leaves the Citizens after five-and-a-half years at Etihad Stadium.

He played 236 games and founded back of the net 95 times for them, winning four Premier League trophies, three League Cups and the FA Cup.
