AC Milan are one of the clubs interested in signing Arsenal-linked forward Roko Simic from RB Salzburg, a recent report from Croatia has stated.

He is the 18-year-old son of former Inter Milan and AC Milan defender Darijo Simic and has been with Die Roten Bullen since the summer.

But the club decided to send him on loan to their feeder club Liefering where he scored seven goals in 10 matches.

According to Net.hr, the board decided to recall Roko and add him to their senior team. In the meantime, a host of Europe’s elite clubs have also taken note of the player’s exploits.

The report mentions that I Rossoneri and Real Madrid are interested in signing the ace, and now the news has arrived from the British press that two London sides – Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur – have joined the fray.

Calciomercato.com recently reported that the talent – who was born in Milan– would like to return to play for them, as he confirmed in the summer:

“Milan with Dinamo Zagreb are my greatest love. I dream of wearing the Rossoneri shirt.”

Elsewhere, Newcastle United have allegedly joined the race to land Everton star Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

The Englishman, who scored 16 Premier League goals last term, has been linked with a transfer to Arsenal, but could now see stern competition for his signature.
