Arsenal considering making offer for Jupiler Pro League attacker

Arsenal are reportedly preparing to bid £20m for the Netherlands U21 and Club Brugge winger Noa Lang.

The 22-year-old star enjoyed a sensational season with the Belgian side last term, scoring 17 goals and assisting 11 as his team won the Jupiler Pro League title by a huge 16 points.

He has carried that brilliant form into the start of the fresh season where Noa has already scored four times and laid on another four assists.

And Lang also caught the eye in the UEFA Champions League last week when the ace was named man of the match in Blauw-Zwart’s 1-1 draw with Paris Saint-Germain.

The Dutchman is is a product of Ajax academy but left the club last year having made just 14 appearances for de Joden.

His development at Jan Breydel Stadium has been a rapid one and now Fichajes are stating that he’s being looked at as an option for the Gunners.

Arsenal were the biggest Premier League spenders this summer, splashing around £150 million on a number of new signings.

Nuno Tavares, Aaron Ramsdale, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Ben White, Albert Lokongo and Martin Odegaard all arrived through the door.

And things have begun to improve for them as Arsenal bounced back from three defeats in a row at the start of the PL campaign with two consecutive victories.

Arsenal-linked midfielder refuses to close door on Brighton exit

Yves Bissouma thinks this summer wasn’t the right time to quit Brighton, but hinted that he could soon depart to play in the UEFA Champions League amid continued interest from the majority of the Premier League’s ‘top six’ sides.

The midfielder has been a revelation for the Seagulls so far this season, helping the club to fourth position in the top-flight after winning four of their opening five games.

The Malin star was widely tipped to leave the south coast club in the summer, with Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool among the teams reportedly interested in the 25-year-old.

But in spite of interest from some of the country’s top clubs, Bissouma says that it was not the right time for him to move on, but revealed that time will come.

I didn’t go this summer, maybe its because it’s not my time to go,’ Bissouma told Brighton and Hove Albion.

‘When my time will come, it’s my time, but I’m happy in Brighton, I’m enjoying playing football.

‘My dream is like every player, I want to play in the Champions League, I want to be champions. I want to compare myself on the top level, not just with other players.’

£30,000-a-week Arsenal ace drawing attention from La Liga and Serie A

Atletico Madrid and Juventus are reportedly considering swoops for Arsenal and England attacker Bukayo Saka as the ace continues to impress for club and country.

The latest reports in Italy from CalcioMercato say that I Bianconeri are following the progress of the 20-year-old forward and that they’ll face a rivalry with Los Rojiblancos if they do indeed launch a move for him.

The report suggests the Gunners wouldn’t be willing to let Bukayo go for any less than €50 million (£42.7 million), and while that is true, the north Londoners would be looking for much more than that fee.

Bukayo has become an integral figure for the London giants under Mikel Arteta, featuring in five matches already during this Premier League campaign, four from the start.

The player has also been featuring regularly for his nation and played a big part in the Three Lions’ run to the final of UEFA Euro 2020 over the summer.

As one of the brightest youngsters in world football, and under contract at Arsenal until June 2024, it seems extremely unlikely that Mikel Arteta’s side would let Saka quit the club at all, never mind for less than £50 million.
