Forgotten Chelsea full-back Abdul Baba Rahman has two proposals from England this summer’s transfer window, as well as interest from France.
That is according to Fussball Transfers, who reports that a decision about his long-term future will be made in the coming days.
He has been with the Blues since 2015 but has only featured 23 times for the club in that time, instead spending most of his Blues career out on loan.
Baba spent the second half of last campaign on loan at the Greek side PAOK Salonika and Fussball Transfers claim they are ‘courting a return’ this summer.
They are not the only sides interested in the player’s signature, though, with the Chelsea star currently courting two offers from the United Kingdom, more concretely England and another from France.
Thomas Tuchel and co. are content to let him go, and a final decision will be made in the coming days, although what they’ll demand for the transfer flop, whose contract expires in 2022, is not yet known.
One place he won’t be returning to is old club the Bundesliga side Augsburg, who are not keen on bringing Rahman back after his spell with them earlier in his professional career.
