Chelsea are exploring the possibility of launching a move for Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Max Kilman, according to talkSPORT.
As it stands, the Blues will have to witness the exits of senior centre-back pair Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen this summer, with both stars out of contract at the end of this campaign.
They have started compiling a list of possible targets in the summer as the club look towards a defensive overhaul in defence, with both Antonio and Andreas’ futures in West London shrouded in uncertainty.
And the capital outfit have identified Max as a defensive target and are thinking about a move for him. The Blues’ scouts have been monitoring his progress in recent weeks and are content with what they have seen.
The 24-year-old star was a Chelsea fan growing up and could be given an opportunity to move to Stamford Bridge this summer.
He has been on the books at the Molineux outfit since the summer transfer market of 2018 and is a regular under Bruno Lage in the Premier League.
In addition to Kilman, Brighton & Hove Albion centre-back Adam Webster and Leicester City’s Caglar Soyuncu are other players claimed to be on Thomas Tuchel’s side’s transfer wish list.
