Chelsea are readying a move for AC Milan centre-half Alessio Romagnoli, according to the latest reports.
The Londoners are aiming to reinforce their defence in the summer amid what is set to be a Blues exodus.
Antonio Rudiger will switch to Real Madrid for nothing, while Andreas Christensen is moving to Barcelona.
Marcos Alonso and Cesar Azpilicueta could also join Blaugrana, with their deals set to expire.
According to a report from Mundo Deportivo, the club are chasing a free transfer of their own.
Rossoneri captain Alessio Romagnoli is up for grabs in the summer, with his San Siro deal running down.
The capital side will have to compete for the player’s signature, however. Sevilla are keen on making a swooping for the Italian.
While German sides Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich are also believed to be interested. Alessio has endured an injury-hit term – starting only 16 matches in Serie A.
While fit again Romagnoli has been kept on the bench in the latest weeks, ironically by former Blues ace Fikayo Tomori.
In addition to him, Chelsea are set to target Los Nervionenses’ Jules Kounde this summer. They tried to land him last year, only for the Spanish outfit to dig their heels in.
