Eye-catching return to Chelsea for Belgium skipper on the cards

Chelsea are reportedly thinking about bringing back the Belgium international Eden Hazard to Stamford Bridge on a loan deal.

The former Blues winger left the club to join Real Madrid two years ago after spending eight years with the west London giants, but the player has struggled since arriving in La Liga.

He has dealt with injury woes and hasn’t managed to consistently nail down a place in the first XI at the Santiago Bernabeu, which has led to plenty of speculation over his long-term future.

Los Blancos’ management are now looking to cash in on the player, according to a recent report from a Spanish daily newspaper ABC, with the Spanish giants aiming to sell the out-of-favour attacker in the summer transfer market.

The report continues, by saying that this could open the door for the injury-prone wide man to return to London, with Thomas Tuchel’s side reportedly considering a loan deal in the winter, with an option to then purchase Hazard at the end of the campaign being placed into that.

The ex-Blues talisman made 352 appearances during his time with the Premier League heavyweights, scoring 110 goals for them in the process.

Paris Saint-Germain working on deal to snare Chelsea No.2 star

Paris Saint-Germain could sign one of Chelsea’s key men next year, according to the latest reports.

Les Parisiens are said to have pinpointed defensive powerhouse, Antonio Rudiger, as their summer target, and are planning to go all out to lure the player to France.

Foot Mercato reports that they have already held discussions with the player’s entourage Sahr Sanessie over his client’s potential transfer to the Parc des Princes.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino is understood to be in love with the prospect of landing the Chelsea star, who he thinks has a lot to offer.

Meanwhile, the Ligue 1 giants could face stern competition from other European outfits for the services of Rudiger.

His situation at Stamford Bridge has drawn the attention of the likes of Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, who have joined the hunt for Rudiger’s signature.

It’s worth noting that the former Roma ace is already in the final year of his deal with Chelsea, meaning he will become a free agent at the end of the term.

Sources have said that the centre-half has no intentions of staying in London. He could start talks with suitors as early as January.

UCL giants interested in move to lure 22-year-old playmaker from Chelsea

Spanish giants Real Madrid have allegedly identified Chelsea star, Mason Mount, as a summer transfer target.

The 22-year-old England midfielder is said to be unhappy with his side’s unwillingness to improve his existing terms, leading to rumours linking the player with a move away from Stamford Bridge.

According to a report from Fichajes, the Galacticos have now become the latest club to declare their interest in Mason, who has reportedly caught the eyes of German champions Bayern Munich and Manchester City.

Such an update comes amid different contract issues at the Blues, with centre-half Antonio Rudiger yet to agree on an extension for his current contract that expires in the summer, in a similar fashion to fellow defenders Cesar Azpilicueta, Thiago Silva and Andreas Christensen.

Mason, who first broke into the Blues side at the beginning of the 2019-20 term under the tutelage of Frank Lampard, has scored three goals and provided two assists in nine PL appearances so far this season.

Such form has seen Mount take his record to 20 goals and 17 assists in 121 games for the capital outfit, including an assist for the winning goal in their UCL final triumph last season.
