AC Milan are keen on the idea of signing Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana, according to a report.
The playmaker has struggled for game time under the German manager Jurgen Klopp so far this campaign.
He has made just two appearances for the Reds, coming in the Carabao cup versus MK Dons and in the PL clash against Manchester United.
The 31-year-old star will be out of contract at the end of the term but the Premier League giants have an option to extend it by a further year.
A recent report from Football Insider stated that the Premier League side do indeed aim to activate that clause, with a view to selling the former Southampton ace at the end of the season.
According to Calciomercato.it, Rossoneri are one of two clubs in Serie A who are interested in the idea of landing Lallana.
The 34-time England international Lallana has the experience that would serve a young team like AC Milan, who could apparently make a move in the winter transfer market.
However, SS Lazio are also linked with a swoop, with Lallana’s former team-mate Lucas Leiva having made the move to the capital two years ago.
In other news, Tottenham Hotspur star Toby Alderweireld believes that his side’s upcoming game with the Reds should be seen as a “big opportunity” for his misfiring side.
Speaking after Spurs’ draw with Watford on Saturday, Toby said: “Sunday is a big opportunity. Look, we’re a team, let’s go again. Let’s go, like that second half. [Give] Our best, it’s all we can do.”
