Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is not intending to send either Neco Williams or Curtis Jones out on loan next season.
The club have regularly handed youngsters loan stints away from Anfield in a bid to speed up their development ahead of a return to Anfield.
The European champions currently have Ovie Ejaria, Rhian Brewster, Nathaniel Phillips, Marko Grujic, Sheyi Ojo, Ben Woodburn, Taiwo Awoniyi, Kamil Grabara and Harry Wilson out on loan stints.
However, according to The Athletic, full-back Williams and midfielder Jones won’t be following in their footsteps next season.
Reds manager Klopp views the pair as prepared for the step up to the first team and will keep the two at the club for the 2020/21 season.
With both Adam Lallana and Nathaniel Clyne departing, Williams and Curtis are considered as capable of filling the void.
The duo are likely to be handed playing time this season as soon as Liverpool wrap up the PL title.
They will be looking to impress when Jurgen hands out opportunities, as they both attempt to make their mark at Liverpool and push for regular senior team action.
Elsewhere, Liverpool are reportedly ready to offer €60m (£53.5m) and one of their stars to persuade Napoli to cash in on defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
Reds manager Jurgen Klopp is rumoured to have already held personal negotiations with the Senegal international over a summer move.
Kalidou has been linked to numerous clubs during his six seasons at Napoli, but the Serie A outfit’s asking price of near €100 million has often put off other clubs.
However, Emanuele Cammaroto of Napoli Magazine has stated that Liverpool have found a way around that problem by proposing a player-plus-cash offer.
Divock Origi is understood to be the player Klopp is prepared to part ways with in order to soften a deal for Koulibaly, meaning that Liverpool value him at just under £40m.
