The report claims that the Red Devils and the Reds are among a flurry of sides chasing the Dutchman and that PSV Eindhoven’s management are bracing themselves for a summer battle to keep their star forward.

Among other sides named in the report are Tottenham Hotspur, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Inter Milan, with the report also crediting a Dutch daily newspaper De Telegraaf for the information.

The Netherlands international is a name that has started doing the stages, thanks to the blistering season he is having for Rood-witten this season.

Having moved to PSV Eindhoven at a young age from league rivals Ajax youth set-up, Bergwijn has been on fire this campaign, especially in Dutch top flight, wherein the star boasts a return of 11 goals and 12 assists in 24 games so far.
