Tahith Chong has already made a decision not to extend his Manchester United deal beyond 2020, with interest from numerous sides around Europe.
The 19-year-old is out of contract at the end of the campaign and with just four Premier League matches to his name, he’s looking at options away from Old Trafford.
The Netherlands U21 international has shown a lot of promise and has also featured in the Champions League, EFL Cup and FA Cup.
The teenage midfielder arrived at the Red Devils from Feyenoord back in 2016, leaving the Dutch side because, ‘no plan was made for me. When I said I wanted to leave, they made a plan. That was too late.’
It becomes visible that he has now got a similar feeling at Manchester United, with Italian publication CalcioMercato claiming that he has already chosen not to renew his contract in Manchester, with Juventus interested in snapping the talent up on a free in the summer.
Tahith said of his own future: ‘For me, all options are currently open. I have to focus on the season first, then I’ll see where my journey takes me.’
His entourage, Erkan Alkan, also confirmed that there was interest, not just from Bianconeri, but also from Spain and Germany. ‘Tahith does not want to be loaned, but he wants to fight for his chance at Manchester United,’
Erkan told Voetbal International. ‘Top clubs from the Bundesliga and La Liga also have him in sight. He has done a strong preparation in which he has proven to be one of the better attackers of United.’
