Man United must hurry if they want to land Eredivisie impressive talent

Manchester United will face stiff competition if they want to sign PSV Eindhoven winger Hirving Lozano, according to reports in the Spanish press.

The 23-year-old Mexican is believed to be on the radars of Borussia Dortmund and Inter Milan, as well as La Liga duo Atlético Madrid and Barcelona.

Lozano produced a stunning string of performances at the World Cup where his country beat Germany and South Korea to progress from the group phase before being sent home by Brazil in the round of 16.

Hirving netted the only goal of the game versus Joaquim Low’s Germany side in Moscow, and his stock has risen ever since.

Talented forward has taken his international form into to domestic competition this campaign, where he has netted two goals in four Eredivisie games.

He netted 17 times and provided eight assists from a wide position as PSV Eindhoven won the Dutch title last season.

Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho was reported to be unhappy with the wide alternatives at his disposal at Old Trafford in the summer and was thought to be eager to part ways with Anthony Martial.

Man United to cool interest in Premier League £40,000-a-week key defender

Manchester United could reportedly end their long-term pursuit of England international central defender Harry Maguire, according to the British daily national newspaper The Times.

The Premier League giants were continuously connected with a mega-money move for the Leicester City key man this summer as a result of his impressive displays at the 2018 FIFA World Cup finals in Russia.

The 25-year-old star, who has 13 international caps for the Three Lions, has netted one goal in four appearances in all competitions for The Foxes thus far this season.

Maguire, who arrived at the King Power Stadium the previous June following his switch from EFL Championship Hull City, in a deal worth up to £17 million, has netted three goals in 48 matches overall for Leicester City.

However, the centre-half’s decision to put pen to paper on a fresh five-year contract at the club has almost surely put an end to the Red Devils’ pursuit of the defender, who will now earn £90,000-per-week at the King Power Stadium.

Harry Maguire was a number one defensive target for Red Devils Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho in the summer and was rated at around £75 million.
