Manchester United are planning to rekindle their interest in Christian Eriksen, who formerly played for fellow Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur.

The Danish star bagged 69 goals and 89 assists in over 300 games for Spurs before he joined Inter Milan in the January transfer market this year.

He has since struggled for regular game time and has been restricted to only nine Serie A starts under head coach Antonio Conte.

As a result, Eriksen has already voiced his concern over the situation and Todofichajes states that United could attempt to sign the player this winter.

I Nerazzurri are open to parting ways with the midfielder, provided they are able to recoup the entire £18.3 million paid to Spurs earlier this year.

United are obviously long-term admirers of Christian, but they are likely to face direct competition from PSG for his services.

Christian has registered four goals and three assists from 29 games for Inter to date. He was linked with a potential return to Spurs this summer.

Meanwhile, Sheffield United are allegedly keen on a January loan deal for Manchester United star Marcos Rojo.

The 30-year-old defender appeared for United’s Under-23 side last week but has not been involved for the senior team this season, having fallen down the pecking order at the club.

Rojo signed for Estudiantes on loan in January, but the move was cut short due to the COVID-19 outbreak, and he remained with United over the summer despite a host of speculation.

The Argentine will be out of contract next summer and is expected to depart on a free transfer, but according to The Sun, the Blades are hoping to take him on loan for the second half of the 2020-21 term.
