Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly not given up on the idea of luring Bruno Fernandes to Old Trafford in summer.

The Sporting CP star has netted 32 goals in all competitions this campaign and has an £85 million exit clause.

Under contract until the summer of 2023, Sporting CP are thought to be prepared to cash in on Fernandes in the coming months and sell for less than his deal’s break clause.

A Bola state Manchester United are not out of the running after Ole insisted to the board signing Fernandes is fundamental to his rebuild plans.

Ole wants the chance to convince the Lions to accept their proposal and lure Bruno away from city rivals Manchester City, who are also interested in the 24-year-old.

While the Red Devils consider the options, Norwegian tactician is demanding a big summer of spending at Old Trafford.

The boss want to sign a right-back, a midfielder and right-sided attacker when the summer transfer market opens on 16 May.

Borussia Dortmund talent Jadon Sancho is a reported target, as is Crystal Palace right-back and breakout talent Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The Red Devils could spend upwards of £200 million, with a slew of regular names set to leave the club.

Ander Herrera and Antonio Valencia’s exits have already been confirmed and there is talk Paul Pogba and Alexis Sanchez could follow them out the door.

Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly launched an offer for Manchester United shot-stopper David de Gea.

French journalist Geoffroy Garetier states that PSG have tested the Red Devils’ resolve by tabling a bid.

Speaking on Canal+, Geoffroy said: “Paris Saint-Germain are seeking a world-class goalkeeper now more than ever. The club have made an offer for David de Gea.
