Manchester United are reportedly considering a summer swoop to land Real Madrid outcast Gareth Bale on a one-year loan deal.
According to a report from the Daily Mirror, Red Devils are expressing an interest in securing the signature of Gareth Bale in the summer window.
The Premier League giants though, do not want to land the Real Madrid star on a permanent deal and are instead readying a loan move for him.
The dream that was the transfer to Real Madrid has become a nightmare for Wales international in the last couple of seasons.
While the Welshman has been plagued by injury troubles during his time at the Santiago Bernabeu, Gareth had been able to deliver whenever the star managed to get onto the pitch.
But, that all has changed in the last couple of campaigns. Bale had already seen his market value in Zinedine Zidane’s senior-team setup in the 2017-18 season.
But, this past campaign, Bale ended up becoming an outcast at Los Blancos, having been snubbed even when the player was fit.
As a result, Gareth managed to feature in just 52% of the minutes in La Liga for Galacticos and started 29 matches across all competitions.
Ahead of the summer transfer market, Bale’s future is the most unresolved it has ever been during his Los Blancos stint and a summer exit is likely.
In particular, after the arrival of Belgian star Eden Hazard, even though the forward would like to stay put, as per the report.
The Daily Mirror also state that Manchester United are interested in landing him this summer market as the club hold a long-standing interest in Gareth, having been connected with him for years.
