Chile international and Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez is still eager to depart from the club at the end of the campaign, according to a report.
The South American forward has failed to settle at The Theatre of Dreams since arriving from Premier League rivals Arsenal as part of an exchange deal 12 months ago.
Sanchez has started just five Premier League games this term and did not feature at all in Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho’s final month at Manchester United, which was put down to a niggling injury problem.
Under the management of caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the 30-year-old star has been offered a route back into the club and was used in the wins over Reading and Newcastle United, aggravating his hamstring injury in the latter of those games.
El Gol Digital claims that Sanchez’s stance has not changed since Norwegian tactician replaced Jose Mourinho, however, as he still wants to depart in the coming months.
Sanchez, on reported £500,000-per-week wages at Manchester United, is believed to be on the radar of the Spanish duo Valencia and Atletico Madrid.
