Everton have joined Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur in holding an interest in Croatia forward Ivan Perisic.
Perisic has just finished the campaign on loan at Bayern Munich from Inter and the Bavarians had an option to sign the star permanently.
It was set at €20 million, but the German side have not triggered it and rated as unlikely to sign Ivan due to splashing the cash to land Leroy Sane from Manchester City.
There are other variants for Perisic, with the Red Devils and Spurs both keen. Now, according to a German outlet Fussball Transfers, the Toffees have also arrived on the scene.
Carlo Ancelotti is looking to make additions to the ranks at the club and has seen Perisic at close quarters in Serie A.
Manchester United though could be a step ahead and it is stated Inter are looking to swap Ivan for Alexis Sanchez, who is on loan at the San Siro.
It remains to be seen if a deal can be worked out to send him to Old Trafford, with Everton now potentially another variant for the 31-year-old.
In the meantime, Manchester United have dealt a blow as Manchester City have allegedly seen a £41 million bid accepted by Bournemouth for centre-half Nathan Ake.
The 20-times English champions are in the market for a left-footed central defender in which Ake fits the bill.
Ole was also captured telling the Dutchman”We need a left-footed centre-back, so keep going” after his side beat Bournemouth 5-2 at Old Trafford.
However, the Citizens have won the race to sign the former Chelsea youngster in £41 million summer deal.
