Manchester United star Paul Pogba has reportedly indicated that he is open to signing for Paris Saint-Germain.
The France international has been tipped to depart Old Trafford this summer, four seasons after re-joining the club from Juventus in an £89 million deal.
Real Madrid and Juventus have been linked with Paul on and off for the past couple of seasons, but neither club are in a position to table an offer this year.
According to Le 10 Sport, though, the 27-year-old midfielder may still be offered a route away from the Old Trafford outfit by the Parisians.
The Ligue 1 giants are understood to be willing to pay for Pogba and the World Cup-winning Frenchman is up for returning to his homeland.
Paul has only featured eight times for United across all competitions this term due to a succession of injuries, but Pogba is fit ahead of the Premier League’s restart later this month.
Meantime, Manchester United are allegedly still confident that they will be able to strike a deal for Borussia Dortmund attacker Jadon Sancho during this summer’s transfer market.
The Red Devils continue to be mentioned with the England international, although it has been reported that the financial impact of the coronavirus outbreak could see the reported deal fall through.
Sancho has been left on the bench for Die Borussen’s three Bundesliga matches since the action resumed in the middle of last month amid the speculation surrounding his future.
The 20-year-old has been in sensational form for Lucien Favre’s side during the 2019-20 season, though, contributing 17 goals and 20 assists in 38 games in all competitions.
According to 90min, in spite of the financial issues facing clubs in the summer, United are still confident of securing Jadon’s signature in time for the 2020-21 campaign.
