Eduardo Camavinga reveals it is only natural to ‘dream’ of transferring to a great club amid claims linking him with Manchester United.
The 18-year-old versatile midfielder has established himself as of one of the most exciting youngsters in Europe after a sensational breakthrough with Rennes.
His brilliant form has already seen Eduardo called up to the French national team where he is battling United midfielder Paul Pogba for a starting spot.
He is well on course to represent France at the European Championship next year and could see his market value skyrocket if Camavinga enjoys a successful tournament.
The teenager insists he is still very content at Rennes but admits the prospect of moving to a bigger side is something which he would like to explore at a later stage in his professional career.
“The great clubs make me dream, but I cannot name one in particular for my future,” Eduardo told reporters.
“We’ll see [about a new deal at Rennes]. We haven’t set a date to discuss my future, I’m in no rush about it.
“There will be negotiations to keep me here. It would be a pleasure for me to continue at Rennes.
“I still have two years left on my contract and we have enough time to talk about it.”
Meantime, Manchester United, Arsenal and Real Madrid have allegedly been informed by the La Liga outfit Villarreal that it will take €50 million (£45 million) to prise the central defender Pau Torres away from the club.
