Raul Jimenez is rumoured to be ‘on his way’ to Manchester United this summer transfer window after Wolves landed a replacement for the forward.

Jimenez has been in lethal form this campaign, scoring 20 goals and providing nine assists across all competitions as Wolves finished seventh.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side could still qualify for the UCL if they win the Europa League next month, but Raul’s future lies elsewhere according to Portuguese broadcaster RTP.

It’s stated that the Mexican will complete a transfer to United and that Wolves have already signed his successor Paulinho.

They claim Paulinho will move to Wolves for £27 million – a transfer orchestrated by super-agent Jorge Mendes.

He has been in lethal form for Braga this season, netting 25 goals and providing nine assists in 48 appearances.

He is believed to be a direct replacement for Jimenez and the Red Devils is claimed to be his next destination.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to add to his attack this summer, with Jadon Sancho said to be their top target.

He extended attacker Odion Ighalo’s loan to January to provide cover for Anthony Martial but it has been clear he wants to sign a new No. 9.

Mason Greenwood’s emergence doesn’t appear to have dissuaded the Norwegian boss from splashing out on a centre-forward if reports saying Raul will arrive are accurate.

In other news, Inter Milan are allegedly becoming increasingly confident of finalising a move for Manchester United attacker Alexis Sanchez during this summer’s transfer market.
