La Liga defending champions Barcelona are keen on signing Chievo Verona youngster and rumoured Arsenal transfer target Emanuel Vignato at the end of the ongoing 2019-20 term.

19-year-old Emanuel is a regular first-team starter for Italian second-division outfit Chievo Verona and the Italy U20 national team and has earned a lot of praise from pundits for his recent displays for both club and country.

He signed for Chievo Verona as a youth player and rose through the ranks before getting promoted to the first team in the 2017-18 season.

Thus far, he has made 26 senior appearances for his side and has recorded two goals and two assists.

Meanwhile, it is a British newspaper the Daily Express who reports that Blaugrana are keeping tabs on the youngster.

The outlet further claims that Serie A clubs Juventus, Inter Milan and SS Lazio, Premier League giants Arsenal and Chelsea and Bundesliga heavyweights Bayern Munich are also interested in signing him.

According to the publication, it is Blaugrana who lead the transfer race for the Arsenal target at the moment, because the club have already tracked his progress by sending scouts to watch play during Serie B clashes.

Emanuel himself has expressed his love for the club in a recent interview.

“Where do I see myself in 10 years? I hope as high as possible, playing with a strong team,” he told DAZN in a recent interview, adding, “Barcelona are the most beautiful side to watch, Guardiola is the best coach.”
