West Ham United star Reece Oxford is reportedly set to turn down a move to Borussia Monchengladbach in favour of a transfer to Unai Emery’s Arsenal.
The central defender made his domestic West Ham United debut at the age of 16 against the north London giants in 2015, where the Hammers would defeat their London rivals 2-0.
It may seem as though the now 20-year-old talent has fallen off the map somewhat in the latest years, having spent time on loan at Reading and Borussia Monchengladbach.
However, there is no shortage of sides interested in the England Under-20 star.
With the Bundesliga club clamouring for the chance to land Oxford in a permanent capacity, the star himself is supposedly on the verge of spurning the opportunity to head to Germany full-time.
It is claimed by sports television channel Sky Sports that the London-native is interested in joining Arsenal in the summer transfer market.
Englishman would represent an addition in one of the Gunners’ key areas of need – centre-half – and would pave the way to finally fire Germany international Shkodran Mustafi to the moon.
