Arsenal want to sign UCL giants outcast but must fight for his services

Unai Emery is interested in signing Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira in January transfer window, according to UOL.

The Arsenal coach is looking to bolster his variants in the middle of the park, as they look to get their campaign back on track after an iffy run of form.

Pereira is understood to have received an offer from Gunners, who hope to secure a deal for the star this month.

Everton and West Ham United are also expressing an interest in landing the 23-year-old, who has made just two EPL starts for Manchester United in 2018/19.

Pereira’s current contract expires at the end of the season, so Red Devils know that receiving a fee for South American in January would be something of a bonus, should Andreas leave in the summer.

With Welsh midfielder Aaron Ramsey set to leave the Gunners at the end of the campaign, bringing in Pereira would help fill the void to an extent.

A possible stumbling block is whether or not Manchester United are happy to sell to a rival, but it is a reported deal that feels possible.
