Unai Emery’s Arsenal have reportedly submitted an offer for exciting French forward Bilel Hassaini.

According to the French media outlet Foot Mercato, relayed in an article by HITC, the Gunners have made an offer for the 18-year-old, who currently plies his trade with Ligue 2 side AS Nancy.

Fellow Premier League outfit Crystal Palace have also lodged a bid, with Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain also thought to be interested.

Bilel has never turned out in a senior team encounter for Les Chardons, and if successful, Arsenal would look to place the youngster into their U23 set-up at London Colney.

Boss Unai Emery desperately needs several first-team incomings at the Emirates Stadium over the summer transfer window, with reinforcements in the defence looking like a priority.

With Bilel regarded as a future star, and Gunners limited in wide options, perhaps Arsenal’s pursuing a move for the youngster is a smart idea, with the player possibly breaking into the main team squad during the coming years.

Arsenal could sign Hassaini for an extremely cheap sum, and as a result of their history of bringing exciting French stars to London, a move could prove to be another stunning piece of business by Arsenal in the long run.

Meantime, Arsenal have reportedly placed a transfer value of £45m on Lucas Torreira amid suggestions that AC Milan want to sign the midfielder in this summer’s transfer window, According to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Torreira made 50 appearances for the Gunners last season following his arrival from Sampdoria.
