According to a British newspaper the Daily Star, Arsenal, Manchester City, Newcastle United and Everton are all interested in landing Dwight McNeil from fellow Premier League side Burnley in the summer transfer market.

It has been claimed that Arsenal, Manchester City and Everton have watched McNeil in the latest weeks, and now Newcastle United have joined in the hunt for the 19-year-old star – who’s current contract at the club runs until June of 2023, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.

Dwight has been in the Burnley senior team only since the previous year, but the youngster has done enough in the English top-flight to show just how he good he can be.

The England U20 international has made 16 matches and one substitute appearance in the EPL for Burnley thus far this season, netting three goals and registering five assists in the process.

The midfielder would be a wonderful long-term signing for Newcastle United, Everton, Manchester City or Unai Emery’s Arsenal, but perhaps the young star should stay at the Clarets for the time being to continue his development and to play frequently under manager Sean Dyche.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are thinking about a shock swoop to land Tottenham Hotspur star Toby Alderweireld in the summer transfer window, according to a report in England.

A British tabloid newspaper the Sun, as cited by talkSPORT, is reporting that the London outfit are ready to submit a bid to secure the signature of the former Atletico and Ajax player in a cut-price deal at the end of the campaign.
