Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are among the sides ready to battle it out with Manchester United over the landing of £60m-rated Leicester City star Harry Maguire this summer window, according to The Sun.

The Englishman has enjoyed a rapid rise since coming through the youth system at Sheffield United as he enjoyed three seasons at Hull City before joining Leicester City in a £17 million deal in the summer window of 2017.

The 26-year-old star has developed into one of the best centre-halfs in the EPL over the past two seasons and he has also cemented himself as a regular first-team player in Gareth Southgate’s England side having made an impression at last summer’s FIFA World Cup finals.

Harry’s form in Russia led to speculation connecting him with a move to Old Trafford the previous summer after Jose Mourinho reportedly pinpointed him as a possible signing but the player ended up staying at the King Power.

However, another huge campaign has seen Maguire’s market value rise even further and The Sun states that Red Devils are ready to reignite their pursuit as coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer plots to overhaul his roster in summer.

Arsenal’s problems at the back are well documented and manager Unai Emery desperately needs fresh legs at the back to shore things up with Germany international Shkodran Mustafi enduring another disposing campaign and Harry could be viewed as the perfect replacement.
