Barcelona have reportedly lowered their valuation of centre-half Samuel Umtiti from £45 million to just £27 million amid interest from Arsenal and Manchester United, according to reports.

The Spanish side have taken a big financial hit due to the COVID-19 crisis and are said to be planning a fire sale of their star players in the next transfer market.

Barca could use Samuel as part of a swap deal for Inter forward Lautaro Martinez, who is their top summer target.

But according to Sport, the star would prefer a move to the PL over the Serie A if he is to leave Camp Nou.

The French World Cup winner has been plagued by injuries in the last two campaigns, making just 11 appearances in La Liga this season.

Both Mikel Arteta and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer are reportedly targeting a top centre-half to improve their defences.

Meanwhile, Arsenal could reportedly land Roma attacker Justin Kluivert during this summer’s transfer window with loanee Henrikh Mkhitaryan moving in the opposite direction.

He has spent the 2019-20 campaign on loan with Giallorossi, and it is understood that the Italian side are keen to complete a permanent deal for the Armenia international.

The Serie A outfit have reportedly been struggling to agree a sum with the Gunners, but according to Corriere dello Sport, a swap deal involving Justin could be on the cards.

The report states that Mikel Arteta’s team would part with £13 million and Mkhitaryan in order to bring the 21-year-old to the Gunners during this summer’s transfer window.
