Arsenal are leading the hunt for Ajani Burchall this summer, with the 16-year-old allegedly rejecting a new contract with Bournemouth.
The Sun report that gifted winger Ajani Burchall has snubbed a scholarship deal with the Cherries, meaning he will be available for no more than a training compensation sum in the summer.
The Gunners are reportedly at the head of the queue for the ace, who is also drawing interest from multiple other Premier League clubs.
He made his senior debut for Bournemouth in last year’s December, coming off the bench late versus Huddersfield.
That was just a month after Ajani turned 16. He made the matchday roster again later that month but has not yet made any further senior appearances.
Understandably, a senior team debut at such a young age draws some attention, even in England’s second division.
With Kido Taylor-Hart yet to pen a professional deal with the Gunners and a bit of a lack of natural wide attackers in the U23s, it’s very possible the club might look to bring one in over the summer.
Talking about contract extensions, meantime, Crystal Palace’s Tyrick Mitchell has reportedly rejected interest from Arsenal to pen a new long-term contract with the Eagles.
Having loaned Sead Kolasinac out to the Bundesliga side Schalke and lost Kieran Tierney to a calf injury, Arsenal were tipped to land Mitchell.
The Gunners didn’t strike a deal for the player, though, and The Mirror now claims that Mitchell has agreed to sign fresh deal at Selhurst Park.
