Arsenal manager Unai Emery is eager for his side to sign Paris Saint-Germain defender Presnel Kimpembe this summer transfer market, according to a report in France.

The French media outlet Le10 Sport, as cited by Metro, is reporting that the Arsenal coach is interested in a deal to land the World Cup winner to bolster his defensive options.

The same article claims that PSG are prepared to part ways with the 23-year-old in the summer transfer period after the French starlet endured a difficult campaign at Le Parc des Princes.

The Gunners could struggle to put together a package to land Kimpembe given Unai’s limited budget to invest in new faces ahead of the new term.

The report goes on to add that the London-based outfit would need to spend around £35 million to sign the French centre-back ahead of the new Premier League campaign.

Arsenal look set to be connected with a host of different players in the summer window as Emery looks rebuilt after a decent but unspectacular first campaign in charge.

Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid are reportedly keen on Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin and are prepared to offer Vitolo in exchange.

Hector is reportedly still a couple of months away from completing a full recovery, but that hasn’t forced the Gunners to look somewhere else for a new right-back.

According to The Telegraph, Atletico Madrid will try to tempt Gunners into discussing a deal by giving the club the chance to land Vitolo, who won three Europa League trophies with Unai Emery at Sevilla.
