Paris Saint-Germain will allegedly consider a move for Chelsea star Tiemoue Bakayoko this summer if the club are unable to sign his fellow countryman Tanguy Ndombele from Tottenham Hotspur.

The French giants are expected to be in the market for a new central midfielder ahead of the 2020-21 season and have been linked with Ndombele, who has reportedly refused to play for Spurs manager Jose Mourinho again.

However, according to a recent report from a French source Le Parisien, the Parisians are also keeping a close eye on Tiemoeu and could move for the France international in the upcoming market.

The 25-year-old has spent each of the last two campaigns out on loan, representing AC Milan during the 2018-19 season before returning to Monaco, making 23 appearances in his second stint with the club.

Bakayoko is due to return to the Blues this summer but is allegedly not in Frank Lampard’s plans moving forward, leading to a host of talk surrounding his future.

In the meantime, Chelsea are allegedly determined to bring West Ham United star Declan Rice to Stamford Bridge during this summer’s transfer market.

The 21-year-old ace, who represented the Blues as a youth player between 2006 and 2014, has been in stunning form for the struggling Hammers during the 2019-20 season.

The England international has a deal at the London Stadium until June 2024, but he continues to be mentioned with a move away from David Moyes’s side due to their struggles this term.

According to The Sun, Chelsea want Declan to ‘lead their defence’ next term, with Blues manager Frank Lampard keen to sign the talent and deploy him at the heart of a back three.
