Chelsea forward Willian has reportedly been offered a huge signing-on fee to sign for Tottenham  Hotspur.

That’s the claim from Football Insider as the 31-year-old South American eyes a free transfer from Chelsea this summer.

Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho is favourite to sign a player he bossed at Stamford Bridge, in spite of Arsenal reportedly being ready to pay Willian £250,000 per week.

Spurs are allegedly dangling a huge contract in front of the former Shakhtar Donetsk and Anzhi Makhachkala star and Willian admitted talks over a fresh Chelsea deal have in effect ended.

Willian told Expediente Futebol: “I  think it will be very difficult for me to renew because Chelsea offered me two years.

“I asked for three and it ended there. We didn’t talk anymore. We didn’t negotiate anymore.”

Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United have also been linked with the Brazil international over the summer.

And certainly, Willian’s post-lockdown form suggests he is still one of the PL’s most effective performers, showing the type of authority and athleticism that Mourinho loves.

Willian has scored four goals and grabbed two assists in his five games since the Prem resumed in June after the coronavirus crisis eased.

In other news, Chelsea star Antonio Rudiger has reportedly been in touch with international teammate Kai Havertz in an attempt to entice the playmaker to Stamford Bridge this summer.

The Blues are said to be leading the race for the Bayer Leverkusen ace, who is expected to hand in a transfer request at his current side ahead of a summer exit.

Bild claims that Antonio has been in contact with the 21-year-old midfielder for a couple of weeks in order to coax him to the Blues, having also reportedly done the same during the pursuit of Timo.
