Wilfried Zaha’s agent has held discussions with Bayern Munich over a possible transfer, reports say.

Confirmation of Wilfried’s link-up with super-agent Pini Zahavi has been seen as a clear indicator from the Crystal Palace attacker that he wants a transfer to a bigger club.

Zahavi is considered one of the most influential figures in football and already represents Bayern Munich centre-forward, Robert Lewandowski.

Chelsea have been linked with a swoop for Zaha this month, with Frank Lampard interested in bolstering his attacking line.

Sky Sports state Zahavi has wasted little time in searching for an exit route for his new client and has opened preliminary negotiations with Bayern.

A transfer in January is unlikely, but Wilfried is hopeful he will be able to leave the Eagles at the end of the season.

Palace rejected bids for Zaha last summer, with Arsenal and Everton tabling offers for the 27-year-old.

Zaha handed in a transfer request, but the Eagles refused to budge on their £80m asking price.

Arsenal’s interest in Wilfried has cooled since they signed Nicolas Pepe, but the Blues are expected to make enquiries about the Ivory Coast international.

The Ivorian is aware many Premier League sides won’t be able to match his side’s valuation and is prepared to move abroad.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan are at the front of the queue to complete a deal for Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud over the January transfer market.

The forward is expected to complete a transfer away from Stamford Bridge after falling behind Michy Batshuayi and Tammy Abraham in Frank Lampard’s pecking order.
