Chelsea are ready to smash their transfer record to land Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho, according to the latest reports.

The Premier League giants are no longer banned from signing any stars. The club have found out on Thursday the appeal to overturn their transfer ban has been successful.

The Blues are given the green light, they will be able to bring in players in the next transfer window.

Goal report the club are ‘confident’ of signing Sancho ahead of Manchester United either in January or next summer.

He is close friends with Chelsea stars Tammy Abraham and Callum Hudson-Odoi, who the star grew up with in London.

And Jadon is expected to command a much bigger sum than the £72million arrival of goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga from La Liga outfit Athletic Bilbao at Stamford Bridge last year.

The England youngster, who is valued at more than £100 million, has appeared to be unsettled in Germany after a blistering 2018/19 term where he scored 12 goals and registered 14 assists in the German top-flight.

His numbers have been good this campaign, too, with five goals and six assists in 11 games in Bundesliga.

However, Jadon feeling ‘humiliated and scapegoated’ by die Borussen for their inconsistent form this term, which has seen them win only six of their opening 13 matches.

Sancho has also been connected with a big-money move to Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid and the Premier League title-chasers Liverpool.
