Chelsea chairman Roman Abramovich will reportedly give the green light for his side to make a club-record bid for Jadon Sancho from Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund, the reports say.

The west Londoners have been quiet in the transfer market this month despite them being able to bring in fresh faces after their FIFA-imposed ban was overturned.

According to Sport, the Blues are likely to land a creative player before the transfer deadline and Lampard’s side have their sights set on signing Sancho from the ranks of die Borussen.

The same outlet states that Abramovich has given the go-ahead for the transfer and the club could be prepared to spend around £102 million to lure the Englishman from the Bundesliga side.

Dortmund have previously indicated that they will not part ways with Sancho until the summer but there have been reports claiming that the arrival of Erling Haaland from RB Salzburg may change their stance.

Haaland made his debut during the recent league match against Augsburg and Erling made an instant impact with a hat-trick coming off the bench to seal a 5-3 comeback win for his new club.

Meantime, Serie A giants Inter Milan are reportedly interested in landing Chelsea’s Victor Moses during the January transfer market.

The 29-year-old defender has spent the first half of the 2019-20 term on loan with Fenerbahce, where Victor has managed one goal and one assist in seven matches for the club.

Goal.com reports that Inter are keen to complete an £8.5 million deal before the winter transfer market closes for business.
