Sky Bet Championship club Swansea City are interested in landing Chelsea star Kasey Palmer on loan, according to the Sky Sports live transfer blog.

The 22-year-old midfielder is yet to make a senior team appearance for Chelsea, with another loan switch looking to be in the offing for the player this summer transfer window.

The attacking midfielder was sent out on loan to the English club Blackburn Rovers in the first half of last campaign, netting three goals in a total of 17 matches for Tony Mowbray’s side.

In the second half of the term, he was then shipped out on loan to another English outfit Bristol City, where he made just two league games for the Robins, netting twice.

But now, it is reported that Swansea City are keen on taking Palmer on loan from Chelsea, as Steve Cooper plans to further reshape his roster ahead of the 2019/20 season.

The Swans have brought in just the one recruit this summer, signing defender Jake Bidwell on a free transfer from Queens Park Rangers, but a new midfielder is likely to be on the Welsh side’s radar.

They lost Dan James to the EPL giants Manchester United earlier on this summer, and whilst they don’t play in the same position, Swansea City will be hoping that Kasey can contribute to plenty of goals if he did arrive at the Liberty Stadium.

His time with Bristol City and Blackburn didn’t go as well as expected, but you would still expect the star to be a regular starter for Cooper’s side if Kasey were to sign.

They need a new creative player in their team, and Chelsea prodigy could be that man.
