French midfielder N’Golo Kante is allegedly not interested in leaving Chelsea in the immediate future.

The 29-year-old star’s future was called into question over the summer transfer market, and it had been suggested that he’d be allowed to depart Stamford Bridge for the right price.

A recent report, meanwhile, stated that Kante’s relationship with Blues chief Frank Lampard had become strained, and the World Cup winner had his heart set on a transfer to Real Madrid.

However, according to Le 10 Sport, the two-time PL title winner has no intention of leaving the club in the near future as he is still enjoying his time with the London heavyweights.

The midfielder, who has a contract at the club until June 2023, has started all five of his team’s PL matches this season after seemingly overcoming the muscular and hamstring problems that harmed him last term.

Meantime, Chelsea explored landing AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma during the summer transfer market and remain admirers of the 21-year-old, according to reports.

The club spent the bulk of the pre-season campaign hunting for a new No 1. And they ended up landing Edouard Mendy from Rennes instead, with the Senegalese star now competing with Kepa Arrizabalaga for the No 1 jersey.

According to CalcioMercato, however, the Blues actually explored signing Gianluigi instead during the summer transfer market.

It’s stated they retain an interest in the 21-year-old amid uncertainty over his future, with the Italy international yet to pen a contract extension.
