The midfielder has been a key figure in the Partenopei’s team since joining the Serie A side on a season-long loan from the Blues in the transfer window.

He has started each of their last four league matches and former Napoli star Rastelli feels the former Monaco ace is fundamental for the side now.

The Italian hailed the Blues loanee as a complete player and lavished praise on his calmness on the ball, which Rastelli feels makes his team-mates comfortable.

Impressed with the Frenchman, Massimo pointed out that a player of Tiemoue’s quality gives courage to the rest of the team

“Bakayoko is fundamental for Napoli. He is a complete player“, he told Italian radio station Kiss Kiss Napoli.

“He has enormous serenity in handling the ball and this also makes those around him feel good. A footballer of his calibre gives courage [to the team].“

Tiemoue has made six appearances across all competitions for his side so far and it has been suggested that the Naples-based outfit are looking to make the loan move permanent soon as they are already in talks with the Blues.

Elsewhere, Chelsea were ready to allow Antonio Rudiger to move to PL rivals Tottenham on loan, but the star himself turned down the chance.

According to The Athletic, the Blues have softened their stance on doing business with sides they view as direct rivals, but Antonio himself thought his life would be “made difficult” by going to one of the Blues’ biggest rivals.
